Solar Lighting or Low Voltage

 The number one question? Is do I use the Solar or the Low Voltage Lighting for my Landscaping. This question has a great amount to do with what type of person your are and your application. Let us start with Solar Lights is always less expensive to operate that Low Voltage. Solar Lighting also need little work installing.Solar Lights can be use in any size yard and Solar lights have many designs. I have stated a few of the advantages of Solar Lights. Let me give you some disadvantages of Solar Lighting. Solar Lighting are not as bright as Low Voltage Lighting. Solar light do not give you the choice of changing bulbs wattage and colors. Solar Lighting are not good under trees and shrubs.Solar Lights require rechargeable batteries usually very expensive to replace. I have gave you some of the disadvantage of Solar Lights. Let us move to Low Voltage Lighting. Low Voltage lights  can be installed with out any permit it is usually a Do-It-Yourself installation product. Most Low Voltage lights come  ready to install with instructions,wire,Lights and Transformer.Low voltage came be install around trees,shrubs or eves of your home. You will have to bury or cover the wire. You must reference the manual for the wattage limitation and distance. A 110 voltage outlet is needed for power to your transformer.
